      <image:title>About Mike</image:title>
<image:caption>I always wanted to be a Psychologist. Yet, my curiosity about how people think and feel initially saw me pursue my love of music. After a decade as a singer-songwriter, I returned to university to study psychology, bringing the same curiosity for human emotion and expression into my professional life. That creative grounding continues to shape how I approach my work: evidence-based, human-first, and always attuned to meaning and connection. As a Registered Psychologist, my work now sits at the intersection of mindfulness, wellbeing and performance. I help executives, athletes, creatives, educators and teams build mental fitness, resilience and sustainable high performance. My approach integrates evidence-based psychology, wellbeing science and mindfulness - translating theory into practical tools that support both individual growth and organisational culture. Alongside my consulting and coaching work, I’ve maintained a successful clinical practice for 15 years, supporting individuals through anxiety, stress, depression, burnout, relationships, life transitions and performance-related challenges. This helps to ensure that my wellbeing leadership remains grounded in real human experience. My work spans private practice, performance coaching and wellbeing consulting. I’ve led national wellbeing programs as Lead Psychologist at Smiling Mind, co-founded an Education Consultancy (Loupe) to support schools and leaders in embedding wellbeing culture, and partnered with organisations such as The Mind Room, St Kild Football Club and Saint Haven. I’ve taught Mindfulness at Monash University, UNSW and in a myriad of schools and organisations across Australia - an area of expertise underpinned by a personal mindfulness practice and professional development spanning 25 years. I believe wellbeing and performance are interdependent. When people feel safe, connected and purposeful, they do their best work and live their best lives.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Tobias Keene, D.D.S. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Workshops and Keynotes I design and deliver bespoke workshops for organisations and schools looking to improve wellbeing and performance and reduce stress and burnout - be it for leaders, staff, students, players, coaches, etc. Workshops are underpinned by mindfulness theory, research and practice, as well as by other areas in psychology - such as neuroscience, clinical psychology, coaching psychology, and wellbeing science more broadly. Topics include: Mental Fitness, High Performance, Resilience, Meaning and Purpose, Traversing Change, Positive Work Relationships, to name a few. I believe in making the content as contextual as possible and like to work collaboratively with my clients to determine the right mix of content and most impactful program delivery. In addition to workshops and wellbeing/performance programs, I’m also available for conference keynotes and panels. Consulting I consult directly to businesses, organisations and schools on the intersection between mindfulness, wellbeing and high performance. Often a client will have a particular interest in one or two of these areas but, given how intertwined they are, the the work inevitably captures, and benefits are seen across, all three. My engagement can include strategy, content and program development, Executive Coaching, and delivery of staff professional development. I also love collaborating with other Learning and Development folk. This tends to take the form of a working alliance with other providers of organisational training/development in which I bring my expertise to the table.</image:caption>
